I had a great lesson with Fe at the WM Pickleball Academy. She is so knowledgeable and an excellent coach. In little over an hour I felt I’d improved on dinks, court positioning, backhand drive and resets.
Great value holidays in warm places with like-minded people and knowledgeable, friendly coaches.
It’s a wonderful time — a mixture of holiday, play and coaching, not necessarily in that order.

From a dark Birmingham morning to sunshine, proper pickleball courts and a week he still remembers.
I will never forget walking onto the pickleball courts in Rota for the first time. It was January 2024 and we had left a very dark and cold Birmingham Airport at silly o’clock in the morning. Thirty of us from Pickleball Central UK were travelling, and for most of us it was our first overseas pickleball trip.
A mere four hours later we walked onto the courts in Rota. It was 20 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, and they were proper pickleball courts. It was a magic experience.
The following day we had our first coaching session with Ernesto and his team. Ernesto is an Olympian at badminton, so he knows a thing or two about court play. His insight was excellent and, despite being an elite sportsman, he has a nice relaxed style.
The week continued with a lot of play, coaching, great weather and great company. I have since returned three more times, plus trips to other Spanish cities. It’s a wonderful mixture of holiday, play and coaching.
